Song: Sakthi Kodu(Tamil); Movie: Baba(2002)

April 2, 2008

And so it happened…My sis-in-law had a safe delivery and our family is blessed with a baby girl.
As per my earlier post, here is my first song. This song is composed by ARR and originally sung by Karthik for a Tamil movie Baba, that starred Rajnikanth and Manisha Koirala in the lead.

Why this song as the first one??
The song has all the ingredients of a huge entry (applicable to both me and my niece here). It isnt a devotional song; but for some reason, the picturisation in the movie is such. The lyrics speaks about a man asking for strength from the Almighty to reform the people around him and calls the Almighty his Mother, his Father, the Life and the Truth. I coud not ask for a better song to enter with my voice in V-lokam !

To listen in a better way :

  • Please wait till the entire song streams.
  • Try using a headset/earphone for the overall sound clarity.
