C.C. = Considerate Colleague (a 55-er)
I was coming out of our office restroom when a colleague, who had just returned after her long leave, saw me for the first time in the day shift :
“So, how’s it going ?”
I turned to where I had just come out from ……
“Errrrr…. Ya, everything went well ! Thanks for asking !”
“Hopeless!”, she said.
Seriously, did I say anything wrong? 😛
I really don’t know why people get embarrassed with toilet jokes. Most of them laugh on listening to the joke, and the very next minute, give a ‘Cheeeee’ expression on their face. And this kind of confused reaction can only be seen in females !!! 😉 All you women folk out there, be specific! Do you feel that toilet jokes are funny or do you feel disgusted listening to them? Or do you feel disgusted at yourselves laughing initially at such a joke, for giving us such mixed reactions on your face ? 😀 😀 😀
Its official now; people have labeled me as the brand ambassador for all the bathrooms in the blog world (and quite recently for all the garbage bins too). No one had issues with all those potty jokes in the recent Amitabh Bachchan starrer ‘Paa’ that also had him calling his own grandmom ‘bum’ ! Even in ‘3 idiots’, the beginning portions of the All iss well song is picturised with a few topless men covered in soap, bathing together. But everyone was happy and elated watching all that. Hmmpphh !!!
When a decent person like me makes a small, teeny tiny, itsy bitsy reference to the word ‘restroom’ anywhere in my posts, I get massacred by your comments! 😛 Well, I guess then its something to do with, ‘who is in the bathroom’ than ‘who is talking about it’ ? huh !
