V-Tunes (Sep, Oct, Nov and Dec)
I know, I know, this is a very exhaustive list. Four months of songs is a lill too much, isn’t it? This is what happens when you take a break! And since we are already nearing the end of the year, I decided to include the December releases along with the last three months. Any new albums releasing after this post getting published would be mentioned in Music-o-2010, the Annual Round-up post on the 2010 albums, sometime in Jan next year.
Btw, I couldn’t include ARRs 127 Hours in this list but it deserves a special mention. The music of 127 Hours is miles ahead of ARRs previous outing with Danny Boyle and has proved again that he is a genius ! Out of the 14 tracks in the album, my favourites are : If I Rise, Acid Durbari, RIP, Liberation Begins, Ca Plane Pour Moi, Lovely Day and The Canyon.

Great list, though I listen to only hindi from the list.. I havent heard songs from No one killed Jessica yet.. This yr I did not fall in love with many songs.. quality has degraded a lot.. Kizhaku pookum- The first ever ‘mappilla’ type song without any overdose of Ghee,milk,cholesterol or liver oil which i must admit turned out really well.i thoroughly enjoyed this one and shreya,she was just amazing! Thenmerkku paruvakaatru is like those old tamil village songs. Listen, you will like them. I didnt like much of Engeyum Kadhal songs and you are right, it was so repetitive and predictable 😛
